In 2021, dental coverage declined among U.S. consumers 18 years of age and older, according to the recently published NADP 2021 Consumer Dental Health and Benefit Tracking Study. The study found 61% of U.S. consumers ages 18 and over carried a dental benefits plan in 2021, down from a high of 67% coverage in 2018.

In my role as board chair, I am privileged to see first-hand the inner workings of association volunteers and staff. That is why I can say with absolute certainty, NADP is a strong, thriving organization with the knowledge, expertise, and leadership to advance the industry and association.

At the Leadership Conference last month, our volunteer leaders supplied feedback on each High-Level Initiative (HLI) of the NADP Strategic Plan. Using a RACI (responsible, accountable, contribute, informed) review format, the volunteer groups also shared how they will implement the operational plans supporting each HLI.
