NADP Represents Industry at Mach 2025 CMC Meeting

NADP Codes Subworkgroup (SWG) co-chairs Drs. Katie Deffke (United Concordia Dental) and Cherag Sarkari (LIBERTY Dental) and NADP Deputy Executive Director Timothy L. Brown represented NADP during the March 7 Code Maintenance Committee (CMC). The one-day meeting addressed 100 substantive proposals, 10 editorial revisions, and 22 proposals tabled from the 2024 CMC meeting.

While the CMC meeting notes are not final, NADP has started production of the NADP CDT-2026 Change Document to be released once confirmation of the changes for CDT 2026 have been confirmed. Pending final confirmation via the meeting notes, it appears CDT 2026 will have 23 revised codes, 31 new codes and 6 deleted codes.

NADP plans to release the Change Document to the SWG members in May with NADP Member plans who hold a CDT License through NADP receiving it along with the release of the ASCII file. The Codes SWG is planning a webinar for NADP members to outline the changes for CDT 2026 in August with details to be determined.
